James Eats Salami / Fruit Fruit Fruit deals with the attempts and failures that go along with performing in both a ‘real’ and digital existence. Intertwining computer generated imagery, live action footage and chroma key technology, I am collapsing the constructed layers at work technically in the videos, lending itself to a more complicated and extended viewing. Fruit repeatedly comes into play allowing for connections between the use of the body in advertising and the hollow satisfaction of infinitely spinning products in a display case.
